Author Alicia Gaspar de Alba and singer/songwriter Tish Hinojosa celebrate the history of Hispanic women at today’s With a Pen in Her Hand: Mexicanas Telling Stories through Music and Literature. During the salon-style event, Gaspar de Alba will read snippets from her books Desert Blood: The Juarez Murders and Sor Juana’s Second Dream.
