12 Angry Men

The jury’s in on this theater classic

By Olivia Flores Alvarez

Published on April 10, 2008

The story of a jury’s deliberations on a murder case, 12 Angry Men takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride of anger, betrayal, hope and defeat. The case against a 16-year-old accused of killing his father seems open-and-shut to most of them, but one man isn’t so sure of the boy’s guilt. As the play builds to its explosive conclusion, the jury members find they must confront the truth about themselves before they can judge another man’s actions. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. select Sundays. Theatre Southwest, 8944-A Clarkcrest. For information, call 713-661-9505 or visit www.theatresouthwest.org. $15.
