HoustonHipHop.com Relaunch Party

After nearly ten years online, HoustonHipHop.com was near death until DJ Remix and crew bought out and rescued the embattled Web site last month. "From backpackers to the modern sounds of the South," the new regime pledges to leave no Houston hip-hop base uncovered. "With work, the site can embody every angle of 'City of Syrup' hip-hop and all of the minor movements being cultivated within the city limits," Remix says. Now complete with artist interviews, streaming DJ mixes, monthly blogs penned by scene bigwigs, an events calendar and a photo gallery of recent events, HHH also supports an online forum now in full swing. Friday's free show, hosted by President Reko Trill and featuring local luminaries Lower Life Form, PKT (Pimp Killa Thug), DJ Klinch, Party 93.3's DJ Rockwell, Mic Skills and DJ Fly Girl T, marks the site's official unveiling and relaunch party.
